Infrared therapy

Gentler heat that reaches further. Full-spectrum infrared warms the body directly rather than the air around it — with chromotherapy lighting and Halo-One salt therapy built in.

The light

Heat you can
stay in.

Traditional sauna heats the air first. Full-spectrum infrared skips that step and warms you directly, using near, mid and far wavelengths. The air stays at a manageable 165°F, so you sweat deeply without the sharp intensity of the dry sauna.
Both cabins include chromotherapy lighting and Halo-One salt therapy. If the Finnish sauna is a sprint, this is the long walk — and it’s where most people end up settling in.

Why Infrared

What infrared does

Directional effects reported in infrared and heat research — not guarantees, and not medical advice.

01

Deeper, longer sessions

Because the air is cooler, most people comfortably stay in far longer than in a traditional sauna. Which means more total heat exposure, not less.

02

Targeted muscle recovery

Infrared penetrates muscle tissue directly rather than warming you from the skin inward, which is why it’s a favorite for post-training soreness.

03

Chromotherapy

Colored light therapy runs in both cabins. Choose a color or let it cycle, it’s part of what makes the infrared room the calmer of the two heat options.

04

Halo-One salt therapy

Dry salt aerosol dispersed into the cabin, traditionally used to support respiratory comfort and skin. Optional as an Add – On for $10.

How To Use It

Getting the
most from infrared

01

Start at fifteen minutes per round

THE First few visits
Fifteen minutes is a good opening dose. Build toward thirty as you adapt — the gentler heat makes longer sessions genuinely comfortable.
02

Hydrate First

before you sit
You’ll sweat more than you expect, precisely because it doesn’t feel as punishing. Drink before you go in, not just after.
03

Use it as your long block

anywhere in the session
Many members do a short Finnish round, plunge, then settle into infrared for the long stretch. There’s no wrong order — this one just tends to work.
Questions

Frequently asked

How is infrared different from a traditional sauna?
Traditional sauna heats the air, which then heats you — intense and high-temperature. Infrared heats your body directly using light wavelengths, so the air sits at a much lower 165°F and you can stay in considerably longer.
What does full-spectrum mean?
Our cabins emit near, mid and far infrared wavelengths rather than just one band. Different wavelengths penetrate to different depths, so full-spectrum covers the range in a single session.
What is chromotherapy?
Colored light therapy built into both cabins. Different colors are traditionally associated with different states — calm, energy, focus. Set one, or let it cycle.
What is Halo-One salt therapy?
A device that disperses fine dry salt aerosol into the cabin, a practice traditionally used to support respiratory comfort and skin. It’s included in both infrared cabins.
How long should I stay in?
Start around 15 minutes and work up to 30+ as you get used to it.
Is infrared safe for everyone?
Most people tolerate it well, and the lower air temperature makes it more accessible than traditional sauna. Still, check with your doctor if you have a heart condition, blood pressure concerns, or are pregnant.
